Abstract

Coherence is one of the elements of aesthetics that aestheticians have considered essential for the beauty of a text. The effect of coherence becomes apparent when the text loses its beauty and impact without it and the meaning becomes ambiguous. In the text, semantic, connective, grammatical and lexical elements create relationships that distinguish a coherent text from chaotic phrases. This article seeks to analyze the coherence of the verses of Jihad using the descriptive-analytical method and Halliday's theory. According to the results, coherence in the verses of Jihad has created a structural connection and intra-textual factors through which the phrases of these verses have become meaningful. Different types of coherence in the verses of Jihad have caused a better transfer of meaning to the audience and its consolidation in their minds, and the beauty of the verses, and it expresses the semantic relationships that give unity and integrity to the divine word. Lexical coherence in the verses of Jihad is achieved through the unity of beautiful words and the perfection of meanings and their proportion to meanings, and has led to the creation of a pleasing and coherent texture. Grammatical coherence has been used in the framework of deletion, reference, and substitution for the beauty of the text and clarity of meaning. Reference has created a strong connection between words and verses, and has caused clarity of meaning and prevented ambiguity of the text. Linking coherence in the verses of Jihad is often created through inflections for the connection between sentences and clarity of meaning. Repetition also creates coherence by understanding the subject and placing the repeated thing at the center of attention, preventing ambiguity of the text and making the purpose clear.

جمالیة آیات الجهاد وفق نظریة الانسجام النصی لمایکل هلیدی

Abstract [
