Stream of mind is a narrative style in which the author conveys the thoughts, feelings, emotions, and mentality of the characters in the story as they flow in their minds, and the author's role in this narrative style is minimized. In this narrative style, the author uses methods such as direct and indirect internal monologue, third-person limited narration, autobiographical narration, poetry, linguistic confusion, and specific characterization to present the characters to the reader. This essay uses a descriptive-analytical method to examine the components of the mind-flow in the story of the Day of the Assassination of the Leader by Najib Mahfouz. The research findings show that in narrating this story in a mind-flow manner, Mahfouz depicted the conditions of Egyptian society during the time of Anwar Sadat, which was plagued by difficult political and economic crises, and by using these elements, he reflected the feelings of the characters in the story well.<br />  جریان سیال ذهن شیوه‌ای روایی است که در آن نویسنده افکار، احساسات، عواطف و ذهنیت شخصیت‌های داستان را همان­گونه که در ذهن آن­ها جریان دارد منتقل می‌کند و نقش نویسنده در این شیوه روایی به حداقل می‌رسد. نویسنده در این شیوه روایی برای ارائه شخصیت‌ها به خواننده از روش‌هایی چون: تک‌گویی درونی مستقیم و غیرمستقیم، روایتگری به شیوه سوم شخص محدود، حدیث نفس، شعرگونگی، آشفتگی زبانی و شخصیت‌پردازی خاصی استفاده می‌شود. این جستار با روشی توصیفی-تحلیلی به بررسی مؤلفه‌های سیال ذهن در داستان یوم قتل الزعیم نجیب محفوظ پرداخته و دستاوردهای پژوهش مبین این است که محفوظ در روایت این داستان به شیوه سیال ذهن با استفاده از تک‌گویی درونی مستقیم و غیرمستقیم، حدیث نفس، راوی محدود، شعرگونگی و استفاده از شخصیت‌های سرخورده و مشکل‌دار، اوضاع جامعه مصری زمان انور سادات را که گرفتار بحران‌های سیاسی و اقتصادی دشوار بود به تصویر کشیده و توصیف نموده و با استفاده از این عناصر احساسات شخصیت‌های داستان را به خوبی منعکس کرده است. https://nasr-pajuhi.qom.ac.ir/article_4065_c8ae587d50bc556154821010a2ef0859.pdf
